What is Acceleration (G-Force) Testing? 

An acceleration test is used to determine how a product responds when exposed to sustained or rapidly applied G-forces. Testing replicates stresses experienced during manoeuvres, vibration, launch conditions, crate inertia and other high-load scenarios.

Compliance and Standards

MIL-STD-810 Acceleration Testing 

At EMC Technologies, we conduct acceleration programs in alignment with MIL-STD-810 F G requirements, including Method 513 procedures. These tests determine structural and mechanical limits for equipment used in harsh conditions.  

We also support testing to MIL-STD-810E as well as MIL-STD-810G military standard criteria for components designed for high-reliability applications. These standards define load levels required to evaluate system performance under sustained G-forces.

RTCA DO-160 Operational Acceleration Testing 

Our experienced engineers perform qualification testing to RTCA DO-160 Section 7, which evaluates equipment used in airborne environments. This testing process helps to confirm that avionics and aircraft components can withstand acceleration stresses encountered during take-off, landing and turbulence.
